Playamonte Lake (Navarrés)

In the area of Las Fuentes, three kilometers from Navarrés, lies Playamonte Lake: a natural water lake, which, due to its fine sand characteristics, resembles a seaside beach. Classified as a continental beach, it has been awarded the Blue Flag distinction since 2023.

This is a lagoon fed by several springs, such as the Pescao, Fuente Loca, Negra, and Pastores springs. The area is surrounded by pine forests and offers all the services for family tourism: swimming and picnic area, rural houses, cafeteria, restaurant, and children”s playground.
The origin of the lake dates back to the 1970s when the waters from a nearby spring were channeled. At that time, it already had its characteristic beach sand that gives it its name. Here, sand, water, and mountain converge. An emblematic place for the residents of the region and the province of Valencia.

Fees for services and parking:

• General: 5€
• Reduced: 3€ (seniors over 65, pensioners, people with disabilities, and Carnet Jove holders).
• Children under 5 years: 0€ (must obtain a ticket for capacity control).

Maximum capacity of 800 people each day. Advance sale of 600 tickets (online) and 200 tickets for direct sale at the box office, unsold online tickets are added.

RULES AND SAFETY MEASURES:
• Access is at the roundabout leading to the village, from the CV-580.
• Area with lifeguard from July 1 to August 31.
• Lighting fires or discarding cigarette butts is prohibited.
• Keep your pets leashed at all times. Pets are allowed in the walking and picnic areas, prohibited in the sand and swimming areas.
• Camping and fishing are prohibited.
• Respect and keep the area clean by using the trash bins.
