Millares

The last village in the region and on this route is Millares. The municipality is strategically located on the banks of the River Júcar. During the Muslim and medieval period it was a frontier town and the scene of important historical events such as the Moorish revolt in 1609. A past that can still be breathed by strolling through its streets of Muslim design, which are crossed by the canal that starts at the fountain and the Hinchidor pond and which also feeds the picturesque El Clot washing place.

How to get

From Valencia, take the A-7 motorway (Albacete-Alicante inland) (exit 396) to the Estubeny and Rotglá exit (CV-580).

From Albacete on the A-35, take the Enguera exit (Exit 42) and then the CV-590.
