Rock Art Route (Bicorp)

The Rock Art Route is a small trail suitable for family outings, only 3,700 m long and linear in layout. Bicorp boasts an excellent display of cave paintings, which can be visited and are located in the Barranco Moreno area, relatively close to the town center. Here you can find the Lucio shelters, the Balsa de Calicanto, the Gineses, the Zuro, the Sabinas, and the Charco de la Madera.

Integrated into the rock art route of Barranco Moreno, there are also two unique constructions known as the Cave Houses of La Muda and La Joaquina, respectively. These are rustic shelters integrated into the rocky landscape and were used until the 1960s. The builders took advantage of the limestone ledges of the shelters to build three walls between them and the cave floor, creating a habitable space.
