Easter Celebration in Millares

The Holy Week and Easter of Millares is a celebration declared a Festival of Local Tourist Interest of the Valencian Community. On Good Friday, the Solemn Procession of the Holy Burial takes place, with the participation of the brotherhoods of Christ, of the Bed, and of the Virgin. On Saturday, there is a paella contest in the Plaza del Hinchidor and other cultural activities and musical performances at the CIM. The acts conclude on Sunday with the traditional procession of ‘The Encounter’ and the distribution of ‘monas’ among all the children.
