Daher w\u00e4hlte die muslimische Bev\u00f6lkerung diesen Ort zur Gr\u00fcndung des Weilers aus, der den Ursprung des maurischen Ortskerns bildete. S\u00fcdlich vom Dorfzentrum befindet sich, etwas versteckt an der Plaza del Hinchidor, der Wasserspeicher zur Bew\u00e4sserung der G\u00e4rten der Ebene. Hier vereint sich das Wasser aus einer Quelle, das durch den Hinchidor-Kanal hierher gelangt. Das \u00fcberreich vorhandene Wasser kommt auch am sehenswerten Brunnen zur Geltung, der mit seinen Wasserh\u00e4hnen und dem Becken den Platz schm\u00fcckt. Hierher kamen die Frauen, um ihre Wasserkr\u00fcge zu f\u00fcllen (auf Aragonesisch: hinchir = f\u00fcllen). So erkl\u00e4rt sich der kuriose Name von Waschplatz, Wasserkanal und Platz.<\/p>\n<p>Die Morisken nutzten die am Fu\u00df des Ortes verlaufende Hauptwasserleitung, um die M\u00fchlr\u00e4der der Reism\u00fchle und der Getreidem\u00fchle des Guts am Palast der Bou anzutreiben. Zwischen dem Hinchidor-Platz und dem Palast ist ein weiterer grob gearbeiteter aber malerischer Waschplatz an der El Clot (Grube, Loch) genannten Stelle zu finden. An einer Seite des Wasserkanals brachte man Platten aus glattem Kalkstein an. So nutzte man diesen im Sommer frischen Ort und seine beruhigende Wirkung auf die Anwohner und Besucher mit dem angenehmen Ger\u00e4usch des flie\u00dfenden Wassers. Hier f\u00fchlen wir uns in die Zeiten von Al-\u00c1ndalus zur\u00fcckversetzt. Im Jahr 1970 ersetzte man die vorherige Holzabdeckung durch die heutige Struktur aus Ziegelstein und Beton.<\/p>\n<p>Neben dem Clot gibt es einen zweiten, mit Original-Platten versehenen Waschplatz im unteren Ortsteil, nah an der Stra\u00dfe, bevor das Wasser zu den Bew\u00e4sserungskan\u00e4len der G\u00e4rten gelangt. Jedoch geht die Dachkonstruktion des Platzes auf eine Reform aus j\u00fcngerer Zeit zur\u00fcck.
